An academic affiliation with Panrimo grants the affiliating university benefits to broaden the scope of international education opportunities for all students. An academic affiliation strengthens communication between Panrimo and the university by addressing student interest desires, and needs, financial aid distribution, and credit transfer. By facilitating clear, direct communication between Panrimo and the affiliated university, Panrimo can better address student concerns and collaborate with the university to offer solutions that benefit the students’ international education experience. In return, the university benefits by increasing the reach of its study abroad department, allowing more students to becoming involved in international education. Both the student and university benefit from affiliating with Panrimo.
Through affiliating with Panrimo, students are granted various benefits, including but not limited to:
Student Travel Grants
Panrimo offers travel grants to each student enrolled in an affiliated school as follows:
- $200 for each University student enrolling in a summer program
- $500 for each University student enrolling in an academic semester program
- $700 for each University student enrolling in an academic year program
Distribution of Financial Aid and Academic Credit
By affiliating with Panrimo, the university agrees to regard academic work completed by students on a Panrimo program as eligible for transfer credit, in accordance with the university’s academic guidelines. As a result, financial aid can be applied more easily to students’ programs, making study abroad opportunities more accessible. All of Panrimo’s abroad universities are rigorously accredited by the home country’s Ministry of Education or appropriate government educational assessment body.
Universities are granted various benefits by affiliating with Panrimo, including but not limited to:
Ease of communication
By affiliating, Panrimo ensures timely, direct communication with the university concerning students. This includes notifying the university of students’ interest in study abroad, notification of new applicants, and rapid resolution of issues and concerns with which students may contact Panrimo or the university.
Mutual promotion of study abroad
Through affiliation, Panrimo will organize international education information sessions, and attend education abroad fairs hosted by the university, offering credible knowledge about education abroad and encouraging students to explore their education options.
Accessibility to educational materials
Panrimo will provide the affiliated university with educational materials concerning international education, particularly Panrimo’s catalog and orientation booklet. These materials provide pertinent information about international education, as well as detailed analyses of the countries in which Panrimo offers programs. These analyses include topics such as history, politics, economy, demographics, and culture.
