Financial Aid
If you are already receiving financial aid, you can likely transfer your financial aid to cover a Panrimo program. While Panrimo offers grants and scholarship, federal financial aid can be transferred only from your home institution. Please make an appointment with your financial aid adviser to complete Panrimo’s financial aid form to discern which financial aid will transfer, and how much as well.
Typically, the following types of financial aid generally transfer funds for a Panrimo program:
- Pell Grant
- Stafford Loans
- PLUS Loans

The following types of financial aid are transferable only according to the home institutions policies:
- Home college grants
- Home college scholarships
- Perkins Loans
- State grants, loans, and 529 plans
In order to ensure that your financial aid will transfer, have the home institution sign a Consortium Agreement with Panrimo. This form states that the home university will accept the courses you will take as applicable towards credit, which in turn allows the transfer of financial aid. Course credit and financial aid are intimately connected, and all of Panrimo’s overseas universities are accredited, making credit transfer easy.
While you meet with your financial aid adviser, inquire about the higher cost of living abroad. Some institutions recalculate financial aid based on the cost of an overseas program.
