Onsite Support
The safety of our students is of utmost importance and Panrimo is committed to ensuring your students remain safe and comfortable in their new environment. Panrimo has several on-site support resources available to students.
In addition, Panrimo maintains daily communication with our coordinators, keeping up-to-date on student activities. Students, parents, or home university faculty may contact Panrimo’s staff at any time with questions or concerns at 248.686.2225 or paul@panrimo.com.
Airport Pick-Up
Arriving alone in a foreign country is daunting. To ensure that you leave the airport and arrive at your chosen housing safely, Panrimo’s coordinator greets you at your terminal. Our coordinator ensures that you have arrived without problems, and resolves any subsequent concerns you may have.
Orientation
The day following arrival, your are given a city orientation by your coordinator. This orientation acquaints you with your host city, providing pertinent health and safety advice. You are shown the locations of your home country’s embassy, locations of the nearest hospitals and clinics, police station locations and emergency services information, and laws about which you may be unaware. You are also given information about the social climate, including foreign perceptions of US citizens, and the coordinator addresses preconceptions you may have developed about the locals. Dangerous neighborhoods are also identified and you are strongly discouraged from straying near them.
Bi-Weekly Coordinator Suggestions
Every other week, our coordinators send you information about local gatherings, festivals, or interesting and unique events happening in the city. These provide you the opportunity to explore the host country’s culture and build a connection with both the city and the locals. Coordinators are always available for students to contact with concerns or questions.
Guidance on Excursions and Cultural Immersions
Cultural immersions and excursions are included in all of Panrimo’s programs. The coordinator guides you on every excursion and immersion activity, ensuring that you get the most out of every opportunity. The coordinators guidance provides an additional level of support to ease your concerns, as well as guaranteeing that you don’t feel isolated or nervous by exploring sites without a guide.
